In the summer of 2009, an editor wrote a letter to a writer asking the question, “What kind of book could be produced if a writer knew the work would automatically be accepted and trusted the editor and publisher to polish it with love?”

The editor was J.S. Graustein, the author was Mel Bosworth, and the answer to the question is FREIGHT. The novel is due out in late Autumn 2011, but you can get a sneak peek because three preliminary-draft excerpts have recently been published:
